This monograph presents a selection of nine studies on the theme of religious phenomena in the digital age, focusing in particular on the ethical aspects of our relationship with nature, and on critical theological and philosophical interpretations of technology and digital culture. The authors approach these topical issues from a scholarly, critical, interdisciplinary and comparative perspective; through their diverse approaches, drawing on the fields of theology, philosophy, sociology and anthropology, they offer critical insights into the authenticity of human beings and their actions in the digital age. More specifically, it brings together methodologies and epistemologies from creation theology, eco-theology, ecofeminism, theological anthropology, philosophical theology, post-metaphysical philosophy of religion, digital philosophy and cosmotheology, as well as the philosophy and ethics of artificial intelligence and human-machine relations. Their contributions help to shed light on the complexity and multi-layered nature of the spectrum between physical and digital reality.
