Synopsis

The proceedings of the 1st International Congress on Human Movement (ICHM) present scientific and professional papers that address the key role of movement in promoting health, maintaining functional abilities, and improving quality of life throughout the entire life cycle. The publication includes research findings, innovative approaches, and interdisciplinary perspectives, organized into four main thematic areas: children in motion, healthy aging, physical activity and inactivity as a challenge for modern public health, and the use of advanced technologies, such as mobile brain/body imaging and extended reality (XR), in healthcare. The contributions reflect the congress’s fundamental mission: to foster collaboration among researchers, healthcare and education professionals, and policymakers in developing evidence-based approaches to enhance health, capacity, and well-being across all life stages.
