Synopsis

The Catalogue of Good Practices of the ECO2SMART project compiles information on already implemented measures that, through ecosystem-based approaches, contribute to mitigating the effects of climate change and disaster risks. The catalogue aims to enhance capacity building, facilitate the transfer of knowledge and experience among stakeholders in the cross-border coastal area of the Northern Adriatic, and improve cooperation among stakeholders within the Interreg Italy–Slovenia programme area. The collected examples of good practices clearly and accessibly describe the benefits of preserving and restoring ecosystems for climate change adaptation and achieving other
sustainable development goals.
